Today is signing day for H.S. football players. I wish this kid committed to a school in the south east. I would love to see him play. Anyway, nobody recruited this young athlete from MLK - Lithonia, GA until after seeing a tape of his last three games when he switched from offense to defense due to an injury. He was a BEAST on the defense (and THEN everyone recruited him). This boy is on another level! His major will be kinesiology. That’s how serious he is about his talent. This kid may grow up to be one of the greatest. Remember where you heard it first.

This is his college decision:

Of course people were shocked and appalled he didn’t choose Auburn, however TCU has put plenty of football players in the NFL and their academics is bar none.

D, I'm amazed that this kid's LAST THREE GAMES of HS earned him a scholarship to some of the biggest football programs in the country. It's a great lesson that I can teach my boys: Don't give up on your dreams.
